CLASSIC TIME: This is the homepage for angler Boyd Duckett, the 2007 Bassmaster Classic champion and one of the top professional anglers on the ESPN BASS Elite Series tour. This week Boyd competes in the Bassmaster Classic, pro fishing's Super Bowl. The Classic is on Lay Lake, site of Boyd's championship three year ago. Weigh-ins will take place Friday through Sunday, Feb. 19-21, at the BJCC Arena in Birmingham, Alabama. Boyd is also busy producing MICROMagic rods through his new company: Duckett Fishing. This month, Duckett Fishing announced the addition of five outstanding anglers to the company's pro staff: Terry Scroggins, Kelly Jordon, Byron Velvick, Jason Williamson and Pete Ponds.
